My Favorite !Bling! of All Time (Number 2 of 5)

This is one of the cutest bags I've ever made and it's that bling thing. I mean, look at it!

I bought this necklace years ago and one day I noticed how well it went with this fabric.

Not only are the beads cute, but there's these wonderful animal cutouts that I sewed on either side of the purse. The other great thing about these beads are they are lightweight, so the purse doesn't fall.

Isn't this the custest?

New Design: Piggyback Bag!

I just came up with this new design and I really think it's cute. It's two bags, and one bag is smaller than the other and attaches to the larger bag.

The bags can be taken apart and look good worn by themselves. They can be worn cross body or on your shoulder.

And of course, they are very Dramatic!

...But Just Don't Tell My Husband

Well, I was at the fabric store yesterday getting a zipper (which my husband reminded me of about 20 times before I left) and of course I looked at the other offerings.

Hey, there was a line at the cutting table, what could I do? Oh, yeah, I didn't need to get anything cut...

Well, the point is that I got some really lovely, creamy brown wool felt that I can't wait to use at the holidays. I love this type of fabric, plus the color is neutral so I can match it with vividly colored beads, fabrics and brac brac. Plus, I used my 40% off coupon and bought matching brown trim.

So, when I get these holiday items made up, I'll show you, just after I finish all the other projects in my sewing room...might not be for another 10 years.

Anyway, happy sewing to you all!

This bag reminds me of springtime and St. Patrick's Day!

I fell in love with this fabric combination as soon as I matched it up!

Such a pretty kelly green color, and lovely leaves and flowers with gold intertwined all through the fabric. I used a lovely faux leather for the handle, it's a pretty caramel brown and blends perfectly with the caramel in the main body of the purse.

And of course, what would this purse be without a gorgeous metal button with a kelly green center?

Love, love, love!

For the Tea Lovers on Your List

I think this fabric is so pretty--I made it into a nice, sturdy, largish tote with a zipper on the top and pockets inside.

Plus, I love faux leather!
