Princess Di Rocked Orange Porange

I was doing a recent Internet search on a phrase I was going to use for the title of an upcoming post about an orange dress I was going to make.  I often doing searches of ideas that I think are off the wall, but am constantly amazed how at least one person has had the same wild idea.

So I was astounded to see that Orange Porange was on the Internet.  Apparently, women have been putting together this combination of orange and purple for some time (look at Princess Di here) and I didn't realize there was actually a name for it!  Of course Princess Di looked good--even if she wore a paper bag.

I could so see women our age also rocking this color combo. I'll keep this in mind when I make my orange dress.  Maybe I'll add a purple pin...I'll have to think about this!

Have any of you worn a purple/orange combination?  Do you remember Princess Di wearing this outfit?

New Design: Piggyback Bag!

I just came up with this new design and I really think it's cute. It's two bags, and one bag is smaller than the other and attaches to the larger bag.

The bags can be taken apart and look good worn by themselves. They can be worn cross body or on your shoulder.

And of course, they are very Dramatic!

Can You See the Faces In This Bag?

This is so cool, can you see the faces in this bag?  Do you see the man's and woman's face in the orange part of this bag?  He has a beard and appears to be wearing some type of hat, he looks like a famous painter to me.  She is in the upper right hand part of the bag--and she seems to be wear a long gown and has a crown on her head. 

Or am I plum crazy?!

 

Pumpkin Decorating Contest

These are pictures from a Halloween pumpkin decorating contest I entered. See the matching orange purse I made? I named this pumpkin baby: Pampered Pumpkin Princess. Even her auburn hair, orange binky and brown shoes match with the whole ensemble. What a lucky baby!
